I am a Certified Dare to Lead™ and Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. I have a 14-year connection with the Brené Brown Education and Research Group and am deeply grounded and experienced in the research of shame resilience and how it can be used to empower us in our personal and professional lives.

dare to lead

I have been a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator since 2019 and have facilitated a number of in-person and virtual workshops and keynotes designed to help leaders, teams and organizations develop the courage-building skills needed to move from “armored leadership” to “daring leadership.”

Participants learn and practice the brave work, tough conversations, and the wholeheartedness needed to support change in the workplace. My Dare to Lead™ workshops also focus on how the curriculum translates to the reality of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging issues in the workplace.

I also integrate Dare to Lead™ into my coaching and organization & leadership development consultations.

Pricing for Dare to Lead™ is structured according to the type of workshop or engagement and the number of participants. Please contact me for specific details.

I have also been a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator since 2014 and periodically facilitate retreats and workshops using the Daring Way curriculum. Please contact me if you are interested in any of the workshops described below:

rising strong

My Rising Strong workshops feature a 3-step process for dealing with life’s falls (aka failures) - rumbling with vulnerability, reckoning with emotion and the revolution of practicing these steps for rising strong after life’s falls. It also introduces the BRAVING acronym—boundaries, reliability, accountability, vault, integrity, non-judgement, and generosity—and how we can leverage these behaviors to get back up after we experience falls in life. Everything you read in Brené’s book by the same name is addressed in this workshop.

daring greatly

My Daring Greatly workshops focus on understanding the mechanics  of vulnerability, shame, courage, and shame resilience and how they relate to life’s struggles. This workshop is based on Brené’s book by the same name and features the 4 steps of the Shame Resilience model—recognizing shame and shame triggers, practicing, reaching out, and speaking shame—and how these steps can be cultivated to strengthen participants’ abilities to “show up, be seen, and live brave” in life.

the gifts of imperfection

My Gifts of Imperfection workshops feature ten “guideposts” for wholehearted living and specific practices for letting go of beliefs about who we’re supposed to be. This workshop promotes understanding about the importance of courage, compassion, and connection and how they are keys to owning our story, growing our sense of worthiness, embracing our authentic selves and loving ourselves through this process.
